I sailed for 4 hours before my Maui wedding 3 years ago. Timed it perfectly, as my wife had her morning/afternoon hair style and massage.
Just in time for a sunset, beach wedding party consisting of the two of us and the local minister.
It blew 30+ the next day on Maaleha Bay.

Maui has to be the ultimate wedding destination for a windsurfer, and the sunsets are to die for ! Of course the warm water, great wind and awesome waves help too :)
