Brandon Bay in the snow
Had this blog for years, and it's about time I started posting more pictures to it again. Heres a shot from a few weeks ago, went to Brandon for the day, barely made it through the snow in Limerick on the way, but was rewarded with blue skies (5degreesC) and 30 knots on Mossies reef, just over mast high.

First attempt at setting a new World Record for Irish Sea Crossing had to be abandoned 11 miles out near the Kish lighthouse, due to the wind reaching 30 knots (not forecast), making it hard going forme and the support boat. Ideally we are looking for
16- 20 knots,which should make it a crossing of approx 3 hours.
Now just still waiting for the perfect day to try again
